With the addition of an MST Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS), the unit can automatically start and take over the load within approximately 7 seconds (adjustable between 3–10 seconds) following a mains power failure. For higher load requirements, multiple units can be operated in parallel or grid-tied configurations.
