When purchasing a silent generator set, pay special attention to the following parameters:
Rated power: Select the appropriate power based on actual needs to avoid overloading or wasting resources.
Noise level: Prefer models with a decibel rating below 70dB, and confirm the test standard (e.g., measured at 1 meter from the generator set).
Fuel type: Diesel generator sets offer high torque and are suitable for heavy loads; gasoline generator sets start quickly and are easy to maintain; and natural gas generator sets are more environmentally friendly.
Routine maintenance is equally important. It is recommended to change the engine oil and filter every 200 hours of operation and regularly check the battery charge and coolant level. For units stored for long periods of time, start them up and run them at no load for 15 minutes monthly to prevent component corrosion.
