Precautions for Operation in Cold Environments

(1) Fuel oil:

Choose diesel oil of different grades according to the different outdoor temperatures in winter.

(2) Lubricating oil:

Choose lubricating oil of different viscosities according to the season.

(3) Coolant:

Add coolant to the cooling system of the diesel powered engine. Choose coolants of different grades according to the different outdoor temperatures.

(4) Starting:

Auxiliary starters can be used when necessary in winter. After the diesel engine starts, you can only apply load and run it at high speed when the oil pressure and water temperature become normal.

(5) Battery:

Before the cold season starts, be sure to check the electrolyte level, viscosity and unit voltage of the battery. If the diesel engine is not used for a long time and is in an environment with very low temperature, remove the battery and store it in a warmer room.

Daily Maintenance of Diesel powered Engine

Regular maintenance is an important part of using a diesel engine properly. If you want the diesel engine to maintain a good technical condition and work reliably for you for a long time, please carry out maintenance in accordance with the standards.

During maintenance, pay special attention to the cleanliness of parts. When reinstalling the disassembled parts, you should clean them thoroughly and ensure correct installation. Then start the engine and check if it operates normally.
