Diesel generators must be safe, reliable, and convenient. When refueling a diesel generator, you should follow the following safety procedures:

2. Do not remove the fuel filter during refueling to prevent dust, dirt, and other foreign matter from entering the diesel fuel.

Refueling tools must be clean and designed for this purpose.
