1. Coordinated Control of Battery Energy Storage and Diesel Generators in Standalone AC Microgrids
In standalone AC microgrids, coordinated control between diesel generators and battery energy storage is key to ensuring stable system operation. Leveraging the rapid response characteristics of battery energy storage, a coordinated control method for diesel generators and battery energy storage is proposed. When the diesel generator serves as the primary power source, an auxiliary power control signal is introduced into the traditional droop control of the energy storage system to prevent system crashes caused by prolonged diesel engine overcurrent, thereby improving system stability. To address short-term power outages within the microgrid when the primary power source switches from the energy storage system to the diesel generator, or vice versa, a seamless dual power source control strategy for diesel generators and battery energy storage is proposed.

2. Modeling and Operation Simulation of Marine Diesel Generator Sets
The operation of marine diesel generator sets is an essential component of power plant operations. The number of diesel generator sets operating in parallel determines the capacity of the marine power plant. The stability of parallel operation is closely related to the stability of the marine power plant. Establishing a mathematical model that accurately reflects the operation of diesel generator sets is crucial for power plant operation control, simulation, and performance analysis. Research on the parallel operation of diesel generator sets involves the establishment of models for the diesel generators, a parallel operation control model, and a power load model. While various approaches exist for modeling diesel generators, most are limited to single-unit simulation. With the diesel generator model as the core, a mathematical model for the parallel operation of multiple diesel generator sets was established. Using the ship power station of the "Yukun" vessel as a reference, the diesel generator model, power load model, and parallel operation control system model were established.
