The Cummins diesel standby generator set is an emergency power supply device. It uses a diesel engine to drive the generator. It is specially designed to solve the problem of main power grid outages. The generator set can automatically detect power issues, start quickly and switch power seamlessly. In this way, it provides continuous power for key scenarios. It is an indispensable "power safety barrier" in industrial, commercial and public fields.

● A smart and convenient "worry-free device"
The Cummins diesel standby generator set is equipped with an intelligent control panel. The panel can display real-time data such as voltage, current, fuel consumption and water temperature. It also supports automatic fault alarms (such as overload, low oil, high temperature).
High-end models support remote monitoring (via 4G/Internet of Things). You can check the generator set's status on your mobile phone or computer. You can also start or stop the generator remotely. This is especially suitable for unattended scenarios like base stations and computer rooms.
● A "versatile power device" with high adaptability
The Cummins diesel standby generator set covers a wide power range. It ranges from 5kW (for home use) to 2000kW (for industrial use).It can meet the needs of different scenarios. For small-scale needs, it can power emergency lighting in shops. For large-scale needs, it can provide full-load power for factory production lines and data centers.
The generator set supports multiple voltage outputs. It is compatible with various types of loads, including inductive and capacitive loads. Examples are motors, air conditioners and precision instruments. Its voltage fluctuation rate is ≤1%.
This prevents equipment from being damaged due to unstable power.

As a key emergency or backup power supply, the stable operation of a diesel generator set relies heavily on the correct selection and use of core consumables - diesel and antifreeze.
Diesel is like the "blood" of a diesel generator set. Its quality, grade and storage method directly determine the engine's combustion efficiency, power output and service life.Diesel grades are mainly classified by their pour point. The core function is to ensure diesel maintains good fluidity in specific temperature environments and prevents wax from precipitating to block the oil circuit. The only selection criterion is the minimum temperature of the environment where the unit is used. You should choose diesel with a pour point about 5℃ lower than the local minimum temperature to leave sufficient safety margin. For example, if the local minimum temperature is -10℃, select -20# diesel instead of -10# diesel.
Antifreeze (also called cooling fluid) is a key medium that ensures the diesel generator set's engine dissipates heat normally in high temperatures and prevents the engine block from freezing and cracking in low temperatures. Its functions are far more than just "anti-freezing".There are mainly two types of antifreeze on the market: ethylene glycol-based and propylene glycol-based. Among them, ethylene glycol-based antifreeze is most widely used in diesel generator sets due to its high cost-effectiveness.Choose the concentration based on the freezing point: The freezing point of antifreeze is determined by the concentration of its active ingredients (ethylene glycol/propylene glycol). Similar to diesel, select a product with a freezing point 5℃-10℃ lower than the local minimum temperature. For example, if the local minimum temperature is -20℃, choose antifreeze with a freezing point of -25℃ or -30℃.
Choosing, using and maintaining diesel and antifreeze correctly can greatly improve the reliability, cost-effectiveness and service life of diesel generator sets. It ensures the unit can be started and perform well when needed most.
